And Now for Something Completely Different

It was a little over three years ago when I took the leap and decided to quit my job at DellEMC and jump head-first into my entrepreneurship adventure. As expected, it has been an insanely fun roller coaster. Quite recently though, I decided to put my entrepreneurial aspirations on pause for a while and join a really exciting early-stage startup as a Staff Engineer.

The main reason for this is simple: I will soon become a parent for the first time. And I wanted to make sure I have enough cycles as well as enough mental energy to devote to our son and live this truly once-in-a-lifetime experience as fully as possible.

I’ll be writing more about my experience as a founder, how it was going through job interviews after almost ten years, why I decided to join Whatnot (a huge departure from what I’ve done until now), as well as my experiences as a new parent. But it won’t be on Medium. In fact, this is my last post here. I’ve decided that I want to start writing more often and with more intent, and it matters to me that I do this on a platform that I own and control.

If you care to follow my writing and my adventures in engineering, startups, and parenting, I will be writing at https://parentprocess.xyz/ (yes, I was really giddy when I thought of this name 🤓). There is a chance that I will be cross-posting the content on Substack. We’ll see about that.

Thanks for reading! See you on the other side.
